Tomek Wawrzyczek was born in 1969. He obtained a degree in IT engineering at the Silesian Technical University in Gliwice, Poland. Designer and photographer with no professional background. Traveller focused on street photography and social documentary. Draws inspiration from many great ones as Cartier Bresson, Doisneau, Ronis, Rodchenko or Newton. Enthusiast of so called traditional photography.
In photography Tomek seeks to capture people in their natural environment, simple sceneries and common objects. He oftenly uses black and white photography to bring out and emphasize the stories hidden behind everything he sees looking at the world through the viewfinder of his cameras.
